Trail Options:   9.6km scenic, wide twin track trail is moderately hilly and passes through a vartey of timber types. The trailhead features a picnic area including a shelter, picnic tables, grill, and fire ring. Groomed for classic only

Trail Description: 9.6km Wide twin track on rolling terrain with a loop that surrounds a small lake. The southern loop is flatter than the north loop and east loops. The trails are mowed in the fall for Grouse hunting. This is a very scenic trail system with moderately hilly and rolling terrain through a variety of timber types. Excellent family trail tour. Groomed for Classic skiing only by the Flambeau Nordic Ski Club.

Directions

The south trailhead is 7 miles north of Phillips on Hwy 13, then 1.8 miles east on Holy Cross Road, and .2 miles north on Holy Cross Trail Road. The north trailhead is one mile east of Fifield on Hwy. 70 then 5 miles south on Hicks Landing Road.
