Northwest Wisconsin Trails
High Point Trail
Ogema, Wis.
Trail Options: 14km – Nine miles of trails traverse some of the most hilly terrain in the state; groomed for skating and classic.
Located near Timms Hill, Wisconsin's highest geographical point; the winter landscape viewed from the top of the observation tower is very special. Three loop trails traverse some of the most hilly terrain in the state. Forests of hardwood and hemlock border the full length of this narrow, single track trail over rolling terrain, with some steep hills. This is one of the nicest trail systems around. Please do not snowshoe on the tracked portion of the cross-country ski trail. Lighted evenings for groups by appointment. The trail joins the Timms Hill Trail which connects the High Point Trail to the Rib Lake Area Ski Trails.
