Trail Options:   1.2 Miles – 3 loop trails: the Forest Lodge Nature Trail, the Extended Nature Trail, and the Conservancy Trail.

Trail Description: The Forest Lodge Nature Trail is an idyllic hike through a series of self-guided natural settings. The trail is managed by the Cable Natural History Museum and visits a wide variety of habitats – from lowland bogs to upland hardwood forest. There are two trail loops. One is generally flat. The longer loop includes more climbing.

Directions

From Cable take Cty Hwy M east 7 miles to Garmisch Road. Turn left onto Garmisch Road and continue 1 mile. The trail head and parking lot will be on the right. The parking lot is not plowed in the winter.
