Holy Cross Snowshoe Trail

Trail Options:   9.6 km – Rolling terrain through a variety of forest types with a loop that surrounds a small lake.

Trail Description: 9.6 km – Moderate hilly and rolling terrain through a variety of forest types. Very scenic. Do not snowshoe on the tracked portion of the cross-country ski trail. Snowshoeing is allowed on ungroomed trails, the snowmobile trail, and Price County Forest land open to the public.

N11901 Holy Cross Trails Lane, Phillips, WI; to reach the south parking area travel 7.5 miles on Hwy. 13 north of Phillips and then east 1.5 miles across the railroad tracks on Holy Cross Road (gravel); at the intersection, do not turn right, continue going straight .2 miles on Holy Cross Trail Road to the parking area. To reach the north parking area, take Hwy. 70 to Hicks (Landing) Road (blacktopped) east of Fifield, go south on Hicks Landing Road about 4.6 miles to the parking lot.
