Nordic Woods Ski Trail

Stone Lake, Wis.

Trail Options:   23km of trail. Generally intermediate groomed for skating and classical. There is also short beginners loop.

Trail Description:

Nordic Woods, about four miles west of Stone Lake, is perhaps one ofthe nicest trail systems in the immediate area. It is entirely wooded and the23 kilometers of trails winds around and between numerous lakes.

Management: Washburn County Forest

Facilities: Parking, 2 Adirondack shelters on trail.. Food, lodging, ski shops near by in Hayward, Stone Lake and Spooner.

Directions

From Hayward take USH 27 south to USH70. Go right/west on 70 through the center of Stone Lake. Continue to County Highway B, turn left and continue to the trail head across from Bobby Schmidt's Resort
