Trail Description: The trail winds thru the property taking in the hills and valleys, and meanders along the Headwaters of the Wisconsin River and Portage Creek. A compact 5K trail that has equal amounts of easy, intermediate and expert trails which offers the skier the unique opportunities for endless combinations of trails to ski. Come and rent our beautiful house and have great cross country skiing right from your door. Winter access at the Forty Acre Woods has no worries, we maintain our road with a tractor complete with a 6 foot snowblower.
